When claimed, the death benefit is conveniently paid out to the beneficiary in an ING Personal Transition Account.1 This is an interest bearing draft account that works like a checking account and accompanies other beneficiary support services.

Portability

Often, the life insurance coverage you get through your employer is the easiest and most affordable coverage available. So why not take it with you if you leave your company?

Voya Employee Benefits offers portability for its term life insurance products so that employees can keep their employer-sponsored coverage if they change jobs or retire.2 Portability can also give you the assurance that coverage may be continued even if the employer terminates their relationship with the insurance company.

Dependent Life Insurance

Voya Employee Benefits offers term life insurance for dependents of employees insured under the group plan. This can include spouses, domestic partners3 and/or children of the insured employee. Age and definition of a dependent child will vary by state and product. For some plans, dependent coverage may automatically be portable, along with the employee's coverage.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance

Part of the protection offered through life insurance includes preparations for other unforeseen tragic events. AD&D Insurance helps enhance the life insurance plan through additional protection in the event of the accidental death of the employee, dismemberment (the loss of limbs), or loss of sight. The employer's plan may also include benefits for additional types of loss.
